Yoga for Athletes

I currently teach yoga for Athletes at two gyms

CrossFit Nixa on Kinder St. in Nixa

Warrior Sports on Plainview Rd. in Springfield

We focus classes on increasing core strength, increasing stabilizer strength, stretching the deep connective tissue to avoid injury, and increase mobility, flexibility, and range. 

You can book a private class with me or join me eith either of these locations for class. 

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow, cooling practice. We tend to live such fast paced lifestyles, Yin Yoga allows us the space to slow down and relax. 

Poses are typically seated or supine poses, held for 3-5 minutes each minimum. Breath work is deep and flowing allowing you to clear your mind and feel completely relaxed. This practice gets into the deep connective tissue of the muscle, increasing your flexibility and range.

Basic & Flow Yoga

Basic Yoga is the Yoga fundamentals. This is all about basic poses, alignment, foot placement, breath (pranayama), focal points, and muscle memory.

Flow (Vinyasa) Yoga matches your breath to your movement, holding poses to build stablizer strength, core work, increases your metabolism and inner body heat. Vinyasa torches calories in a fun, low impact type of way. If you're looking for fitness yoga to slim down and build strength, these 2 classes are for you.
